Unifying the French family of Bourbons to the Austrian family of Habsbourg. Both of them formed the "France of beauty and luxury of Medieval Europe" (note : 1770 is part of modern times and not medieval). In 1774, Louis XVI ascended to the throne. And his eldest child dies at the age of 7, suffering from tuberculosis, his second son, Louis Charles (Louis XVII later) became the Dauphin. The French Revolution broke out in July 1789. Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette now executed, Louis XVII was left to die in the Tower of the Temple where he was abandoned.
